Screen rotation and full screen keeps turning on.

Recently my screen has started to rotate and the bottom buttons keep disappearing. As soon as I ask Locus to navigate it turns to full screen and rotate. I have been able to go into settings to remove full screen and click on the new button that rotates the screen but it is a pain to do it every time. I realise it is to do with the preset navigation but I cannot find out how to amend them.

Also, when navigating I used to be able to see the distance and time of arrival. Now all I can see is the first number. For example, yesterday I wanted to know how far it was to a particular point and all it showed at the top was 1. with no numbers after it. It could have been 1.0 or 1.9.

I have searched long and hard for an answer in the app and then online but cannot find any category that gives me and answer. Please help.
