Select Vectormap AND theme in a row

Should not be a "one click" solution

but a possibility to choose the theme inside the vector map manager.

Hint for locus vector maps:

Tap and hold vector map name..

...but it doesn`t work with other vector maps.

(eg from openandromaps or mapforge)

In fact I was using your hint a long time already. I didn`t know there was even another way to select a theme.

What I struggled with, was that in this window, you can only select the default themes, not the imported ones... It took me more then an hour to find the other way.

Menion, could you please add the external themes also to this window?

this could result in strange display on borders between maps. Hence this hopefully not covered by this topic.

Ups - I just wrote the same idea - it also would be helpful to got a button on the right menue bar, similar to the fast map change button - but where to change the theme.

I absolutey like the idea. It`s a feature I`m missing alot. Thumbs up, if you manage to implement that. Automatic selection of a predefined theme when selecting a map would be even better, but "in a row" is a workaround I could live with.

We`re thinking quite a lot about this topic. Currently there are already three places with ability to select vector theme. This should be fourth, on map should be fifth (some special icon on map when you have enable vector maps).

Anyway in the end I decided into this solution. Still on long click, but for all maps together with ability to use external themes. Only what i think about is to enabled or not, internal themes for maps that do not come from Locus store. Do you have experience in using internal themes with other maps?

Internal themes harmonize greatly with OpenAndroMaps.

Internal themes don`t harmonize with Freizeitkarte but this is more from the fact that Freizeitkarte uses proprietary tags in both it`s maps and theme.

Thanks to implement long tap to choose theme for all maps and themes. Works nice for me. If you could also implement long tap in quick map switch menu that would be awesome! Thanks a lot.

sorry this will not happen. In quick switch is many settings and non of them are generally more important. So there is no need to pull out some of them to popup window
