Selectable map background
Completed
Now as we have these beautiful rgb night schemes for vecor map rendering you get blinded by the white background during the new screen is rendered.
Would be good if one could select a color for background or at least select a black background.

I had the same idea last night, as I have tested the new themes with v03 Vectromaps and so i see many bright white boxes in my eyes :o)

how you think to set color .. is enough by configuration file?

hm, in theory there is also another possibility: I don`t have my phone here and so I can`t look but I seem to remember somewhere an option to have a white or a black empty map.

yes it`s possible to set it, but then you`ll have to set vector map as an overlay and this will slow down of Locus little bit.
New settings directly in Locus is anyway useful for really a small group of people so I`ll rather see this settings in configuration file. On other side I understand that this may be useful to change on-the-fly .. quite hard question

No, I don`t won`t to use it as overlay. Just use this map setting as a side effect for defining the background.
But I`m happy with a config file switch, too. I`ll set it to black...

for me its ok to set bg_color by hex or rgb in the configuration file.
