Send the location in response to an inquiry by SMS

Gathering feedback

By sending a text message from a phone number (no need to have locus installed) previously enabled in the locus app of the other , locus automatically sends a text message with the coordinates (in your chosen format).

It's different from livetracking, not need a data connection and can also be used abroad with acceptable costs.

Useful in case of emergency and if one does not want to be bothered by phone as engaged in outdoor activities.

I tried an other way to obtain the same result with an other app. It's useful and not so expensive in roaming too in locus'd be a great feature.

Hello

2 other topics are open with similar ideas:

and stupidly I added yet another one:

I hope that Menion will be able to group these ideas in a single one!

The requests are similar but mine is little different because sends the text message in response to an external inquiry.

If you are not conscious and you need help, it is better that the phone sends the position automatically.

I obtained this with tasker and works but I think it could be a great feature for locus.

Locus has recently implemented the live tracking feature it works but needs two phones with locus and with live tracking active, too complicated, I hope that the upcoming new version will let everyone to know where you are in case of emergency.
