Separate widget on Android main screen of Locus' weather module

I love the weather module in Locus, because it's very reliable. But sometimes when I'm planning a hiking and all I want to know is the weather forecast for that day, Locus would not needed to be launched only because of this. Just having a look at the main screen, and there is everything. Thank you.

A Lotus weather widget would take you directly to Lotus, at you location, and display the weather. Clicking the `Back` button on the weather display would leave you in Lotus. For me the widget would not need to display much. It would save some key clicks; ie speed things up. What Lotus displays in its weather panel is good and fast.

in the last 8 years ive only found one decent weather app, windy, the locus one is great
and as we already have a great weather app in locus, why install another one.
