Separating POI/Address DB downloads from map downloads

Maps like OpenAndroMaps are really great and I, like tons of others, typically use them. So, no need to download the large map files from Locus store. Unlike the map format, the POI DB is "private" to Locus. Hence a separate download for the POI DBs should be offered.

This one is not dependent on POI DB Locus functionality enhancement that hopefully come soon.

The shop has all mechanics to allow for that. So ...

I would have no issue kicking in a couple of bucks for it.

Make sense to me.

I use OAM cards and Locus cards.

The Poi can also cost something. Just not too much.

Best of all would be if Locus would support the standard Mapsforge POI databases.

No need for an open source and a private solution ofr the same topic in an eco system like Mapsforge, where Locus belongs to as well. (Offline address database is a separate topic, which is not necessarily bound to POI management.)
