Setting up navigation.
Answered
Setting up navigation is not properly described in the manual. When I try to do that, software asks me to connect to the internet, I do not know why. At this moment I stopped and did not even try to go on. I suppose there are points, one or more to add, and how is it seen at the end?
Hi Mariusz,
In default settings you must be online to get the navigation started. This sentence is in the basic chapter about navigation in Locus, see http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:basics:navigation. That's because Mapquest service is set as default router and it works online only. Another warning about internet connection for navigation is mentioned here: http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:functions:navigation:point-to-point. If you want to use navigation online, you have to additionally install BRouter engine as is mentioned here: http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:functions:navigation:point-to-point#offline_navigation or here: http://www.locusmap.eu/locus-map-can-navigate-offline/.
