Share tracks without conversion and loss of information
Answered
I am looking for a possibility to share recorded tracks on my two different Locus Pro devices without converting them with the track export function. That you need to use, if you are using different navigation programs. I seem to loose track information during conversion such as (average) speed.
With this you can do it. With Backup manager you can sync preferences, pois, tracks and so on. After you created new Backup file there should be a share button right side of the 'done' message. I share it with the app "Software Data Cable" I have installed at both devices.

KaHeMu

Thanx KaHeMu, I wouldn't give a better advice. The backup is the best way of sharing data between two Locuses.

Dear KaHeMu,
The backup manager is of course a very gold solution, that I also usw Ehen I transfer tracks to a system that has no tracks at all at the time being.
If I understand the funktion oft the backup manager correctly it will overwrite with the new database file of the first device all tracks available in the second device.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Hi Juergen, that's right, it'll overwrite it. Perhaps it can be solved by various manoeuvring with renaming the database in a file manager or creating copies of the tracks but I'm not sure if such a workaround is worth the effort.

Hi Juergen,
as you haven't posted in this topic for a month, I'm marking it as answered.

Hi Michael,
you can mark it as answered, but not as "solved" ;-)
I am still not able to merge tracks into one database without a loss of information.
It is hard to believe that I am the only person wo is using two
Locus Pro Systems.

Hi Juergen, "solved" is not available option in case of Questions, unlike Problems. And I don't think you're the only one with two Locus Pros. I personally work with 4 Locus Pros and share tracks via Dropbox.

I have 2 locus systems, tablet and phone.
I use dropbox as well.
