Sharing Screen as an Intent with info about the screen contents/boundaries

Hi.

My idea is to add additional method of sharing screen by Share Screen function. Now, there is only possiblity to share screen as an image, but I came to the situation when I would like to have a possibility to send some Intent from Locus to an external app with at least 4 corners ( their coordinates ) and center. There could be more infirnation coming inside this packet, like zoom, scale of map, position of the user on this map...

Why? Because many internet webservices take 4 corners as a parameters to give back some output (eg. giving the POIs inside the desired rectangle).

Hi,

this feature is partially implemented in Locus API. Firstly you may register your own application to list of functions that may receive onClick intent with GPS and map center locations. Or you may register your application for receiveing periodical updates where is also bounding box and current zoom level

If this is going towards "Layers", (ie show the available panoramio/gpsies/gps-tour/utagawa/etc data on my locus screen), I am all for it. I havent really looked into this yet. How do those web services reply? In gpx? I bet every single one is different.

yes every single one is different, so this (by me), cannot be done is some general way, but quite simply by some add-on(s) (because I`ll not for sure, do it now, or soon) ... that will handle and generate various URL requests for specific servers
