Shortcuts to settings
Declined
Hi!
As it seems it will not be included much more stuff into presets, how about being able to create a shortcut to ANY setting either in the side bar or the quick setting pop-up?
This way I can for example change speed units with a couple of presses.
The best would be to be able to include any setting in presets, but I guess this is not on the table.
Steffen
Good day Steffen,
content of presets is not final anyway I may confirm that its options will always be limited and settings like speed units won't be included. As well as other options where is a high probability that it's "once set and never more" setting.
Extracting settings and allow the somewhere in functional panels will be pain process with little to no benefit, so sorry, idea declined.

Under stand your point, Menion.
But it reminds me of an old discussion about settings in general - and search for settings.
Searching in full text mode for titles and explanation texts would be highly effective for non-experts. And very educational at the same time.

Hello Michael,
yes, I keep this in my mind and technically all is prepared for this. So just find some time on it ...

Hi Menion,
I did not mean to extract the settings. I meant by pressing the shortcut I am put in the right spot without having to navigate through the menu. Like a bookmark.
Regarding presets, I don't see why speed and distance units would be a one time settings. Most everybody using Locus at sea would like knots and nautical miles, but on land never these units. If only used on land, of course you are right.
