It would be very useful to change visibility of waypoint`s labels using button placed on right panel.

If it helps, it can be placed in the top menu.

stebu, I think robin think about ability to quickly change a way how are labels drawn right? Like never, always, on hover ... right?

If so, I`m sorry, but such feature do not deserve special icon that may be placed on precious place in right panel.

Yes, you are right Menion. May I ask why?

because such "small" settings with same importance is in locus several tens. I`m not a fan on placing small features into right panel. When some settings need to be changed quickly, shortcut is by "Quick switch" panel.

I plan to add separate settings for every category, where you`ll be able to define also this label type. So if you want to define some type for one category and different for another, it will be most probably later in this "Category settings"

OK, adding this feature to "Quick switch" panel will be nice.

Hello Robin,

as I wrote, feature as you requested will not be created, sorry. Also as you can see, you idea have no additional votes, so it`s not too much wanted.

Such feature do not too much fit into current "Quick switch" panel, mainly because it don`t have just on/off state.

I think, adding this feature to "Quick switch" should be useful. In my opinion, "Quick switch" is especially for this kind of small visual features

1) I have a lot of gpx waypoints and need to be able to turn labels off to reduce clutter. At the moment it takes 6 taps to turn them on/hover/off.

I need a quick way to do this - so how can it be placed in the top menu??

2) or.. why not just show the label when the waypoint is tapped - so much simpler

3) I see I can attach images and videos to waypoints - excellent - but what about plain text (eg comment, notes to myself) and clickable urls?

2) Dragging waypoints to the screen centre to force a popup just so you can read the label is a pain. Why not just show the label when the waypoint is tapped - so much simpler?

4) I have a folder full of photos with gps locations in their EXIF data. How can I create a waypoint for each photo?

Locus is a fabulous product - many thanks
