Show/Hide tracks on map

Vitaliy Romaka shared this problem 8 years ago
Not a Problem

A constant problem - you select hide all tracks (or do it manually for every track) and after locus restart - you see some of them again!!! It slows down map loading. Please, make sure functions "Hide all tracks" and "Hide" are working properly. It makes me nervous to hide them every time I start locus. Please give some advice how to solve it from my side.

Hi Vitaliy

>select hide all tracks..

How you do this?

Please explain, because there are more possibilities.

I will try to explain in details:

Every day I record my track using locus widget, after that I save it. The track name is a date+time (by default).

Data - My Tracks (even there I see 3/155) then I press an "Eye" on the right side of every selected track to hide them. OR I press the "Eye" icon on the bottom left side and select "Hide all". Then It doesn't matter if I back to map or just close locus - next time I start it i see the same tracks on the map again! It p....d me off, as I have many tracks and I need to scroll up and down to find selected tracks...sorry. The number of selected tracks differs from time to time. It could be the last 6 tracks, or some random number (not necessary followed one by one).

Hi guys, interesting. I also never saw this problem.

- when you hide your tracks and return to map, then they are hidden right? So till you close Locus it works correctly, or also don't?

- how you close Locus, by two clicks on back button? When you do this, then wait at least five seconds and then return back to Locus, all tracks are again loaded? At least these from last time?

Hi, Menion

- Yes, when I "hide" tracks and back to map they are hidden. Till I work with locus it works.

- I close locus by holding the "Home" button and swiping Locus (close it as a task), otherwise it is still running (even after double back with the green message to tap back again to exit).

If I do double back then everything is ok. So as I see its a problem from the user side.

Thank you!

Hmm I'm sure then when you close Locus by double-back, then even after a night, there will be 0% of battery consumption (in case you system will still display Locus as active).

On second side, "closing" by home (which only put app to background!) and swiping out in list of active application (which usually kill application without ability to save it's state) is generally bad behavior.
