Showing line to waypoint being created
Completed
Hi Locus-Team,
when creating a route as described in http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:functions:add_new_route_measure would it be possible after the first waypoint has been created to optionally show a line to the map Cursor? I think this could be of help especially when direction and distance at the line are activated.
Many Greetings

Hmm interesting and I believe that also very useful idea.
Implemented ;)

Hi Jiří and Team,
what are your plans about a new release or a test version? There are so many enhancements after 3.1.3 that I think it is worth as next release. Hope you don't wait until the AndroidPIT folks have removed their bug.
Many Greetings

Nono Michael, don't worry. I'm waiting on one guy who will release one important add-on for Locus (related to Geocaching Field notes). It should be (hope) tomorrow, so immediately after them I'll release beta version.

Dear Jiří,
just back from the first 3.1.3.6 test. Dashboard course and NMEA recording are fine. But I think there is a problem with the track line to waypoint that is in creation phase. The line will stop to be drawn when the last waypoint scrolls too far out of the screen. A suggestion for better usability of this feature is to write the distance and bearing not at the center of the line as this can be off the screen but at the line near the waypoint in creation.
What I wanted to ask all the times: what is the blue marking and 1.7 km line in your above screenshot?
Many Greetings
Michael

Hello Michael,
thanks for testing, you're right.
I've fixed problem with visibility of line when you're too far from defined track.
About visibility of labels - improved also. Label remain in center of line, anyway ... ah, you'll see :)
Blue line on screenshot is "Line to GPS" (settings > map - objects). It show distance from map center to GPS position. Very useful ;)

Dear Jiří,
again thanks for paying attention and solving in such a short time! I waited a few days if a new test version will show up, what are your plans?

You mean even when you are on vacation you are doing Locus testing ????

vacation on bike is ideal for testing most of Locus features. This project is 24/7 job, so there are no free moments :)
