Small amounts of saved trackpoints

Answered

hi,

I'm using Locus Free 3.8.2 to track motorbike rides. Unfortunately the amount of saved trackpoints is e.g. 104 on a distance of 105km. This leads to a very inexact track that sometimes makes it impossible to guess which roads/paths I used. Settings are: 20m / 3s / distance AND time / 200m. Can anybody tell me what to do to get more precise tracks?

Thanks!

Hello Michael,

in addtition to gynta's post. Open Menu > Settings >GPS and location > GPS auto - off . Please check that this feature is disabled.

Thanks

Hi Michael,

GPS-auto off feature turn off and turn on the GPS in regular interval. It can save little bit the battery but it has also impact on Track recording feature. Because no point is recorded when GPS is turned off . Let me know in case of further issues.

Regards

Petr
