Smooth out tracking or attach tracking to street/path?
Answered
The title says it all. I am a big fan of locus pro, would be nice, if that would work, because when tracking, sometimes it really goes zig-zag
Hi Alexander,
this zig-zagging is caused by your phone GPS unit when it receives weak satellite signal. It can be relatively reduced by settings of your recording profile by increasing trackpoint recording intervals. On the other hand, you'll get less accurate record then.

what settings would you suggest?

Hi Alexander,
i get good results with settings you see in screenshot, but most important is a good sat signal, so take care of this. Don´t put your device in your trouser pocked and expect best results ;-)
In german board another user made a short test, take a look on discription and attachement of this post

I'm quite content with the setting you see in this screenshot:
Distance AND time condition for foot and Distance OR time for bike and run.
Another option if you need extra accurate GPS is an external GPS receiver connected with Locus via bluetooth.
