Some squares are not loaded using mapsforge map

Oliver Ju shared this problem 8 years ago
Solved

Im using a germany map from openandromaps. There some tiles/squares ar not loaded. It seems that these tiles are allways the same. C:geo uses the same map and there is no such problem. Im using locus pro 3.18.6.

Good day Oliver,

may you please share source of this map and exact coordinates and zoom level when this issue happen? If it really happen always on the same place, it should be solvable.

Also if I may ask, try to test it with disabled automatic loading for vector maps (LoMaps) in settings > maps > offline. There is small issue in autoloading that may cause this and that will be fixed in next Locus Map version. Thank you.

Hey,

I've already tried this option. But the problem is still there. I give you more detailed Informationen:

Device: Sony Xperia Z1C runnig kitkat 4.4.4

The Problem seems to be a random issue now, but the greater thre grade of detail the occourence is increasing. It starts at a zoom level of 5km per unit. My map is the openandromaps germany map from 2016-08-04. The last map I used was from march. Threre were such problems too. The Problem is not depending on special coordibates.I occours everywhere on the map. The first place where I realized it is the region around the Chiemsee in Bavaria. I tried the Austria map 1 Minute ago. The problem ist here too. So I think this is a more general issue with mapsforge maps.

I've tried different map themes. And it seems that it only happens with andromaps themes: the most signifikant occourence is when i use "andromaps hc". Maybe I need a theme update. I try it... I recognized that the loading time for the squares using the "bad" theme is very long. Is there something like a timeout

for rendering?

Updating the andromaps themes resolved the issue.
