Some times it is difficult to read some infos on the map. Here is an example
(I have Nexus 5 so pixel density is verry high. I am using vecor map here) :

You can scale up the display (resolution of maps) and/or set the text size for vector maps. See http://support.locusmap.eu/hc/en-us/a...

Thank you stebu. There is so much options !
I suggest setting a different default value for this setting. It looks like a bug for a new user.

Hi,
As stebu already wrote – the solution is change the resolution of map.
- Go to the Menu > Settings > Map – advanced
- Check “Resolution of map”
- Set the Scale Resolution parameter (e.g. 1.75x)

Another issue is that I need to use a different Scale resolution for vector or OSM Basic. Here are some screenshots using Scale resolution = 3 :

Locus vector map are rendered directly in your devices based on the themes for vector maps. Because are rendered in devices, Locus is able to change the text size based on screen resolution. For this reason is text size different for OSM map and for vector map. OSM map are basically small images and we’re not able to influence the size of text.
There is small workaround. You can place “quick switch” button to the right panel. Quick switch is used for quick changes in Locus settings.
Menu > More > Set right panel
Check quick switch and close window
When you click on Quick switch in right panel Locus show you grid window where you can easily enable or disable Resolution of map

Thank you for the workaround.
I think you should offer a separate setting for vector and bitmap resolution and set a consistent default value for bitmap resolution. Dont you ?

I think there is a font size consistency issue on vector map. Here are 2 screenshots took with the same settings

Probably yes. We’re planning to release more complex vector maps in Q1/2014 and after that would be possible to split resolution settings for Online maps and Vector maps
