Does anybody have a SE LiveView device?

Would it be interesting to get some informations from Locus without touching your phone?

SE LiveView is an external micro display in the size of a watch. It connects over bluetooth to your Android. Best about this gadget is the price with around 20 €.

There is a SDK available too...

I came across this idea, when I noticed, that most of the energy on my devices are used for the display. So I`ve searched for something else to have a short look or to receive and read notifications without starting my devices.

I was already looking on it some time ago. On first sight it looks really interesting, but after reading few reviews I decided not to support this idea

1. battery life is sooo long, that you have problems to keep watches alive for whole day

2. visibility of display is by reviews really really terrible, mainly on direct sun

I`m not closing this idea, but I hope there will be better device then LiveView in future

I hope for e-ink displays or the like on the backside of smartphones and tablets.

There are already few ideas around:

yes I hope so. It should be perfect. Just black/white (or some grey), long battery life and great visibility ... excellent solution. If something like this will come, it will be for sure supported by me :)

Since Locus support track recording with MyTracks, I think you can use the liveview with MicroTracks app.

Am I wrong?

I think it is too late to implement this idea. And also ... still just one vote? Sorry Matthias, idea declined.
