Speech language
Solved
speech indications are in an unknown language, may be Czech. But I don't know how turn left or turn right is told in Czech. It should be in the device language. This was the case in older versions of Locus. There does not seem that a way for setting the language exists or more precisely, a dialog to set the language seems to exist, but with no effect at all.
Hello Denis
take a look at
menu/settings/languages&Units/Text-to-speech settings/TTS Engine > Language
and set it to yours

Thanks, my mistake came from the fact that it was set to English, and that the language was clearly not English. By setting it to French (my language), I got a message in French (Do you like Locus).

Locus has 2 language settings - for GUI and for TTS, both may, or may not be the device language.
Part of confusion may come from 2 possible language settings for TTS. One is TTS language algorithm - hot to pronounce given text, The other is TTS language data to be spoken. TTS can be incorrectly configured to use a text set of language A , spoken by language B. It happened to me once, sounding really funny. Good prevention is to check TTS settings at both application and Android level.
E.g. some applications provide Czech TTS data, what is useless, if no Czech TTS engine is installed on the device.

Good day Denis.
so may we consider this issue as solved ... all works as expected now?
I'm mainly asking because to me also rarely happen that Locus starts to speak in German with English voice and read Czech TTS texts. Quite funny and even after months, I'm unable to solve this because issue only happen for first TTS message when I'm out and never at home when I have device connected to PC. Maybe it's caused by huge number of TTS engines I have in device, don't know. Anyway I was not surprised that "finally" someone wrote similar problem :).
Anyway just let me know if all works fine for your now. If not, please tell me language set in your device, in Locus and values set in TTS settings in Locus, so I may try to simulate it. Thank you
