Stop track recording

How can I stop track recording when I stop the locus pro program? When use my backspace button in order to close the program, it will inform that application is minimized and active process is still track recording.
When I close Locus Pro program in phone settings, it will close the program but after some seconds it will start automaticly track recording. Some help is needed?

Hmm, you are right, there is only a question if you want to discard the record if you have enabled the "Confirm on exiting" in Settings->Global.
But what sense does it make to stop recording on exitin Locus? You should give the track a name which you can`t do if you leave Locus by back button.

Yes, problem is that when I close Locus Pro, the program somehow allow TrackRecordingService -application (or property) continue as a backround service. How can I have such a system that closes all Locus related programs or processes when I close Locus Pro?

I stop recording (and Locus saves the track). Then if I close Locus (and map etc disappears), there is still left an active process working (named TrackRecordingService). Also there appears a notification into display which says that Locus application is minimazed and a active process: track record is switched still on. Also my phone`s notification area shows a (permanent) icon that refers to track recording. Is this how Locus should work, I am not sure of that...

No, this is of course not the way Locus should work and usually it doesn`t do it this way. At least I never observed such a problem.

I stop recording in Locus screen, then the dialog pops up where I can edit e.g. the name of the recording and after I save this with Ok the recording icon vanishes immediately and Locus can be closed without a running service.

Do you have "Locus as a service" turned on (Settings->Global)?
I noticed that it causes Locus service to start even if I have exited and have no recording going on. Also if I tap the notification icon Locus starts as if it was closed (all the usual messages flashing by quickly) so it`s not like I had Locus just running in the background. Btw. is it a new feature? I don`t rememeber it from earlier times I have gone through the settings.
I have it now turned off - which is not a problem since I never had any of the symptoms mentioned in the options description.

may you say me what device you use and what rom are you using? Because I never heard about such problem. Locus use same system for all main services, so I expect that same problem should occur also with Map Downloading, Parking, Live Tracking and some others ...

by ROM is mean kind of your operation system. If you have official update on 4.0.4, then forget it ...

2. in menu > functions, you start "Track record". New panel appear on map screen, here you start recording by red button 1. (http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php/manu...)
3. after a while you disable it by button 5. When you have at least two points, you should see save dialog, otherwise nothing. But in this moment, icon in top bar should dissapear. This do not happen to you right?? You still see locus record icon in system status bar even if no recording is running?
if so, may you try to enable "Parking" feature (and then disable), is effect will be same. This is really very weird. I have currently no idea why this may happen, so I can only do for you special testing version of Locus and you`ll record for me log, where maybe should be some info

The problem was (as I think) in phones settings. When I disabled the gps and then switched Locus to record a track, it let the TrackRecordService working (as a backround service) on even if I closed Locus. And the recording icon remained in screen. If the gps was switched on, all happened just as you mentioned...

very interesting. I`m playing with it for a while and still seems that all works correctly. Anyway if you find something that really not work as should, feel free to create here on GetSatiscation/locus topic "problem" with description
