Hi blahdi,

do you have functioning internet connection? I've just tested export to Strava including log in and all works as charm...

best regards

Hi Michal, I have a working internet connect - tried both with Wifi and LTE.

curious, is the login process using HTTP instead of secure HTTPS by any chance?

It is working now. This is the workaround

1. Phone->Settings->Default-Apps-Locus Map -> selected Open supported links [previous setting was don't open in the app]

2. Started login process-> web page appeared with Authorize option-> Selected Open in Chrome->

3. After authorize is pressed, got a prompt to open Locus app and authorize worked and i could export the track.

Thank you.

I have the same problem with strava authentication. It says mesage "Firefox can't find the server at locus.oauth.callback.strava." Locus version is 3.36.2. The workaround described above doesn't work. I changed to "open supporting links..." to "always allow" with no impact on result.

Hi Peter,

wait for the next version 3.37. coming out today/tomorrow. We've fixed this, hopefully it works.

I am also finding that only one authentication is saved. I.e Strava or Runtastic. Once u authenticate with one, it requires reauthentication when posting to the other.

I hope this issue will also be fixed sometime.

Strava needs re-authentication because the whole auth system was rebuilt.

Thanks Michal, 3.37 works.

The same problem appeared, starting with version 3.37.0 - there are no applications available - see the screenshot. What to do? Strava is needed very urgently.

Hi Alexandr, what web browser do you use?

and do you have any other web browser installed in your phone?

photo

No, I do not use other browsers,

got used to this browser

So Opera is the only one browser installed in your phone, right?

Yes

Unfortunately, this is a bug caused by the Opera browser. It is not able to run certain requests made by Locus Map and caused app crashes. Therefore we temporarily banned Opera for this operations until they fix it - we contacted their developers several times but, so far, in vain. The only solution for now is to install one more browser to your phone. Locus will use it for these types of requests instead of malfunctioning Opera. Thanks for understanding.

In which browser do these features work? Is Chrome all right?

photo

Yes, Chrome is OK, the only Opera doesn't work.

I installed Chrome, and it all worked, thanks, Michael

ah, great news. As soon as Opera is fixed we'll remove the block. Enjoy!

Just wanted to confirm that the issue above I saw with Chrome has been fixed in the latest locusmap release.

Ok, resolved. Something change in Android or Opera (my default browser). When I change default browser I was able to log into Strava.
