Swiss Map Mobile app allows to download swiss topo map for offline use. It would be nice to display that map in Locus as well.

Why it is not possible with locus ? Why Locus imposes to buy each swiss paper maps separately ?
As I use both IGN and Swiss maps, I need to use both locus and swiss map mobile apps, which is inconvenient.

Hi,
It's simple - we have to pay for every single downloaded (or loaded) map tile according to our contract with swisstopo. No matter if map is downloaded for offline usage or map is displayed in online mode. For this reason is swiss topo charged for offline and there isn't any online mode in Locus. As I know mentioned app is official map app from swisstopo office. For this reason I expect that the app has swisstopo set custom limits for their own app.
@Hrabosh - I'm sorry I have to reject this idea. There are very likely technical and also limitation.

Thank you for your answer. There are a lot of other apps that propose online/offline swiss topo maps (Swissmobile, Carte de Suisse hors-ligne, Topo GPS Suisse, Maps Offine, outdooractive). The access to the topo maps is not free but they all offer an online mode or a yearly rate as IGN France, without having to pay for each paper map. May be the conditions with Swiss Topo have changed. You should ask them again.
