Switching between KMZ and Map Views (and how to get software Updates)
Answered
Hi
I'm running Locus Pro 3.17.2
First question..
How do I upload to the latest version.. or do i just buy a new version every time i need an update
Second question
I have a KMZ file that I import so i can see area shading vs location i.e it shows me boundary on where I can and cant go.I would like to be able so change the view to a google earth satellite image.. and back again to the KMZ.
Both these maps.images need to work in offline mode
So
far I can load the google image, but when i import the KMZ it
overwrites the image data and i cant seem to go back without shutting
down and restarting the application
any help you can give would be appreciated
Cheers
Hello Damian

Do you know items

Hi Damian,
1) Update works automatically via Google Play Store. Maybe you just don't have it permitted. Go to it, select My applications, find Locus Map and update manually. Of course you don't have to buy Locus every time you update it.
2) you can set the KMZ opacity - if you activate it, select "Active items" from the left slide-out panel (available in recent Locus), select the KMZ and set its opacity

thanks for that, got it all working in the end
