Unfortunately this is not possible. For this I`ll have to recalibrate images of overlay map on the fly and this is not currently possible. TAR maps can have wide range of various map projections and that`s the problem. In case of Vector maps, Online maps and SQLite maps, you may be sure, that all tiles lay one over another on exact same places and exactly same big ... it`s not case of TAR maps, so sorry, not possible now
