Good day Yaniv,

every dashboard has it's own settings (available in dashboard editor > menu > settings), where you may define "Resize by top/bottom panel". So you may enable this feature to have dashboard always below top panel. Anyway even if dashboard cover top panel, button "menu" is still working in most top left corner, right?

I did the same on my other phone (this time with "close by back button" marked :-)

And the problem occurs again.

Hello,

I still believe there is no problem.

1. you may set semitransparent color for your top panel so you will see what is behind

2. when you tap on top left corner and quick map switch appear, it means you have enabled automatic hiding of top panel.

Anyway if you have such problems, then I really suggest to set at lest small transparency to panel.

Hey minion I know how to solve the problem in the future but now I have made a mistake and I cannot go back and fix it the only way I can think of is reinstalling the program but then I afraid all my track and recorded information will be erased.

Hmm, why you cannot go back? If you have enabled hiding of top panel, then double tap on map screen should reveal it.

Well, if I understand correctly (also also after test of original and changed dashboard), only problem was in settings that reduce size of dashboard by top/bottom panel, right?

Well, thanks gynta :).

Hi Menion, the problem or the bug is. that if you accidentally check "resize by bottom pane" and leave "close by back button back" and "resize by a top panel" unchack.

There is no way to access your menu and operate the program (except if you delete this *.lib file which is not a common knowledge)

Well, cannot agree. As I wrote before, you menu button is still clickable (except case you place put any active button on dashboard to top left corner, disable resizing by top panel and disable "close by back button" - then it may be deadly combination). Otherwise even if your top panel is automatically hiding, you should be able simply display it back by double tap on map etc.

So I generally see here only problem in mentioned "deadly" combination.

In Locus 3.18.5 my dashboard overlaps the right side menu, so the neither the dashboard text nor the menu bar icon is really good recognizable (see attached screenshot) and "ugly" ;-) From the above discussion, I'm unsure whether it's the same issue or it's similar to http://help.locusmap.eu/topic/dashboard-does-not-resize-correctly (just side menu instead of top/bottom) or something in between.

=> Do I have the same issue as discussed here?

=> Sorry, I did not understand how overlapping dashboard items are intended to be resolved (in the dashboard layout? by deleting some files?). Could you please write it down in another wording? Short form is fine.

Thank you, Georg

Good day Georg,

what you get is currently correct behavior. Dashboard is currently not defined to resize by left or right side panels. It is best to manually define dashboard just for inner screen space, so try to define 48 dp width space on right side of your dashboard, this should help in this case.

OK, overlap with right button bar solved with a new cell inserted at the right side, containing "empty" item of 48pixel width.
