This map will not continue download at the level 10 zoom, it starts over as gsin every time.

I'm sorry for troubles but what exactly mean "gsin"? Would you please describe your issue more detailed, please? I only mention that map is available only for us.

Ahh it seems that you want to download at least whole country. The online maps are created from small images - called tiles. There is limit for TopOSM that you can download only 5000 tiles per day. Please cancel this downloading - it would take 2 months to download it and map would have several gigabytes.

Please download LoMaps from Locus Store -LoMaps has roughly 10x smaller size, you can influence the appearance by themes and there are other benefits. More about LoMaps http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:maps_locusmaps

If you really need to use TopOSM please consider downloading smaller areas. Please note that LoMaps and TopOSM are created mostly from the same (OSM ) data

Already have purchased Lomaps, going on cross country road, and hiking trip, rather have the OSM, will keep downloading, how many zoom levels are there?

As I wrote the LoMaps are generated also from OSM - so the LoMaps and TopOSM contains same data.With LoMaps you can zoom in to level=21 but you get all details in zoom-level = 18

The LoMaps are downloaded into folder /Locus/mapsVector/<continent>

Why does the TOP-osm download start over at 0 and not where it left off the day before, and now I get a server error and have to start all over again?

Hi,

I'm not sure if I understand it correctly. In case that downloading was somehow interrupted you can start new downloading (define the area of interest again) > choose option "Supplementary download" > select file where is downloaded map from previous day and start downloading. No everytime it stops at the 5000 imsges for the day, the next day it starts all over at zero and tske nesly all day to get back to the 5000 for that day, it worked all day yesterday and didn't even grt the 5000 images

Hi,

it seems that the TopOSM map server sends wrong response for this tile. I'm sorry this isn't issue caused by Locus and we can't to fix. TopOSM map server isn't maintained by Locus team.

You can try it again or as I already suggested - please consider if you really need to download such vast area.
