Track Recording Up/downhill

Solved

Hi,

I have an Issue with the Up and Downhill Section if I record a GPS track.

I saw some other Topics about this, but I was not able to get the conclusion.

The Values are far away.

Example. Some days ago I record Mountain Bike trip with about 1350 Uphill Meters.

On the Locus (pro) Part the Track show about 2390 Uphill Meters.

I used the bike profile

I was not able to attach the track. If needed find a copy:

Try this: http://utrack.crempa.net/

Result:

Uphill:

1624 m

Downhill:

1626 m

Every tool, different values.

If anyone suggest me some better algorithm, I'll gladly use it in Locus.

Thank you.. Hm I don't know much about this..

So I checked a little bit the Data itself.

I don't know if it help.

In my opinion in one Minute go up 120hm and 130hm down is not realistic.

Are the Values taken from the Map or directly from the GPS?

Altitude values are always took from GPS and optimized by your settings in Altitude manager. Please check also this short discussion http://forum.locusmap.eu/index.php?topic=4522.0 , maybe it should help also to your issue.
