track recording with the screen switched off

I want to use track recording with the screen switched off, in order to avoid incorrect operation and to save battery.
GPS is NOT deactivated, if screen is switched off (GPS options).
Prevent lockscreen, if application is active is set (Display).
But it doesn't function. I only get a GPS-Point, when I switch the screen on.
What can I do?

as I know, this function should work without problems. Please check if Locus record at least one point before you turn screen off, just to be sure, recording is working correctly. Also check GPS settings > Auto GPS off function - should be turned off to be sure, you get best result from recording.
