track representation without information "flag"

When regarding a map recorded somewhen before it is sometimes disturbing that every track has a "flag" with track-infos: the details of the region behind the flag cannot be seen very well.
I did not find a way to hide this information "flag". Is it possible to hide it and show only the track itself?
If not, I propose to implement a "hide/unhide"-option into the menu of the track which you get when you press the starting point.
