Track edition: deletion of all waypoints between two selected waypoints

Hello, and thanks for Locus.

Track edition comes handy, but deleting waypoints one by one can be a serious burden when a stretch of track has to be removed.

This happens for example when exploring one gets lost and takes a wrong path, then has to come back on his track. This part of the track, useless, needs to be removed.

It is possible to remove all waypoints from or up to a selected waypoint, but apparently not between 2 waypoints.

Will be nice to have the option to remove all waypoints between 2 selected waypoints.

Thanks and regards

Hello, I just wanted to request this but found this was already requested. Hopefully menion notices this request and will implement it soon, since deleting many waypoints manually is real time waster. In the meantime I think that more waypoints can be deleted by splitting the track at bordering points, then deleting middle section and re-joining the track again, but this seems complicated to me.

Hello guys,

in latest Locus was introduced "Cut part of track" feature, that do exactly what you need here.

So if no one complains, I'm closing this idea as "Implemented".

Just to make it more precise - to cut part of track, display track on a map, tap on it and choose "Edit on map". From button tools menu, then choose "Cut part of track". First point is already selected when you tapped on this track and now choose second one. Confirm and done.
