Is there chance to restore the possibility of setting track width in meters wider than 50m?

Could you enlighten me for what this is good for?
If you want to see a track clearly in lower zoom levels I would define the track width in pixels instead of meters (actually I always have it in pixels).

Of course tommi. I have made with tracks some borders which I want to be very visible in close zoom-in and do not take to much place in zoom-out. It did work great earlier. You can imagine country border (but I am not the smuggler;)

ah ... hmm then I`ll probably not able to help.
New system allow to define values as increment of 1 (meter/pixel) or 10 if you move fast. Setting 5000 m should be crazy. Btw. why you need such huge value? Why you need borders set to 5km? Since zoom 13/14, you`ll see just color over whole display ...

I would love to send You some screenshots to show how it worked for me but unfortunatelly I do not have ones from old system.
I thought about possibility to have 3rd unit - "km". But If it is much time consuming, this "crazy" incremental mode +10 m is not a big issue for me, I need to set it ~once for a folder style.

You still didn`t answer for what purpose you need this, we are really curious.
I think chance get your request implemented is higher if you convince us that such broad lines are useful.
