Tracking on map

Previously Locus map would show my entire track and record it while hiking. (See attachment 1)
Now it only records a point while hiking and only captures that point when I open up phone to take a picture or check my location (See attachment 2)
Any thoughts? It was working perfectly and then it stopped. I tried removing and reinstalling app with same result.

this looks like a) battery optimization problem or b) enabled Auto-GPS off feature.
Latest months (maybe already years), device manufacturers try to bring the best possible battery saving algorithm so in most cases, a) is the problem.
Hope this will be your case as well. Let me know if disable battery optimization helped.
