Hi,
move your map e.g. via file manager to external SD and follow this manual
http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:maps_external

thank you for your answer,
i copied with file Manager the maps to sd Card to create place on the internal Memory.
but after that Transfer locus didnt start with offline maps any longer. i had to install it completly new.
if i follow your description with "add external maps" locus will Import maps into the internal Memory,
but this is full

Hi Viktor,
please backup your map e.g. on PC (security), next delete it on your internal memory.
Be sure your map is available on your external SD and follow the manual
in manual description is written "if you want to import maps from another directory in your phone memory or from SD card"
but in my understanding this is wrong wording, locus didn´t import the map file, locus use the map file and with "add external map" you point on the location of the map file, so that locus is able to use it.
So please follow the manual description and you will find your offline map in offline tab
Wolfgang
btw: your name sounds german, manual is also available in german, click manual page top left on german flag

Hi Viktor,
I changed the "wrong wording" in manual so that the word "import" would no longer imply storing maps in internal memory. Just add your map from SD card by telling Locus where it is stored.
