Transparent overlay layers from ITO! map

It would be great to have possibility to add transparent overlay to currently displayed map.
Examples of the great overlays which could be added:
I like this idea 
I didnt see any good overlay there I would have use for.
But if menion doesnt implement it, it`s simple to make a custom overlay in map providers.

I was already looking probably on all most popupal maps that are on ITO site, but as brotbuexe wrote ... I also do not discover any nice any globally useful overlay. Suggest to add them on your own by method described on wiki page
