Not a Problem

Hello. When navigating a route via a bluetooth speaker, the beginning of the voice commands is truncated.

Hi Lukasz,

I'm sorry, this issue couldn't be simulated. Most probably the problem is not in Locus but in your device.

I do not know this, but using a different navigation program (for the car) in the options has the function of a continuous bluetooth session, or intermittent. Intermittent has additionally a delay function of the command and if I set the interrupt option without delay, the effect is the same as in Locus Pro (the beginning of the command is cut off)

Yesterday I spent the whole day (100km on a bicycle) using a bluetooth headset. Everything worked perfectly. All commands are uttered completely.

Hello. Today I tested headphones, two loudspeakers and a car handsfree, all connected via Bluetooth. Commands on all devices were initially truncated. It may be the fault of the LG G3 smartphone. Maybe it would be possible to add a sound function in the settings before the voice command? Something like: beep, beep beep, 3x beep, 4x beep. I do not conceal that I would be very happy about it. Regards, Łukasz

Hi Lukasz,

there are more things you could test:

- a different TTS engine

- factory reset of your phone/update of its firmware

Beeping before voice commands is a very nonstandard solution that not everyone would appreciate the same way as you would so I think we are not considering implementing it. Thanks for understanding.
