There is a bug on ‚Turn on during start: previous state‘:

Sometimes after return from sleep or locus on background the GPS is turned off even if it was on before.

Sometimes even when I record a track, make pause and phone sleeps.

I have ‚Leave GPS on, when app is hidden during paused track recording‘ unchecked not to drain battery in pause.

It might be connected(?). But sometimes it works even in pause.

Expected state is just to have GPS at the same state as before phone have slept or lost focus.

Sometimes it works, sometimes GPS is switched off. I didn`t find any system to reproduce this bug for sure.

Hello myneur,

rarely, this issue happen to me also (one per few months). But I was never able to reproduce this issue.

So possibility is that Locus needs a 5 seconds after you close it, till it is completely turned off (removed from device memory). If you start Locus again during these few seconds, it may overwrite some older settings and do some mess. This may also cause this issue. Maybe ...

Anyway without precise way to simulate it, I'm unable to fix it.

not sure if issue still happen to you. I did not noticed it for a very very long time.

So it may be

a) already solved, fine
b) happen so rarely, that it almost not worth to do something with it, without proper simulation
