Hello,

I just tried Locus Pro on a mountain bike trip.

As a normal user of Oruxmaps, I find it difficult to locate the functions I need but this is normal because it takes time to get used to this app which seems to me very successful.

There are two statistical information that I do not find and that is important on a sports circuit: time and average speed on the move.

Someone to help me ?

Hi Alain,

dashboard is one solution and for MTB generally the best one (I myself use the "Trup's" one) but it may be too complicated for some users to customize it (none of the default dashboards contain the values you need) - the values can be added also to the track recording panel - tap and hold one of the panel fields, a list of available parameters appears, select what you need.

Hello, I am studying the question at this time. But it must be said that if Locus is an excellent application, its parameterization lacks fluidity and is not intuitive at all. In particular everything concerning the display of the data and functions being moved. Probably an area on which Locus developers need to make improvements.

To be honest, Oruxmaps has a different approach but not necessarily better - both apps have quite a steep learning curve.

In any case, the comparison between Locus and Oruxmaps is almost useless for a French user. Oruxmaps does not give access to any map chart sufficiently detailed except to use an unfamiliar trick as I do. I will eventually get used to the philosophy user-end of your app, excellent otherwise
