Unable to buy and download LoMaps

I cannot download any of your LoMaps. The whole problem started around Christmas when you offered maps at a reduced price. I bought and downloaded some and the it was impossible to buy and download any more.

Even now (6th January) when I try to do the same, a message appears on the screen "Too many requests / StoreServerUtils, code:10104". I've been trying at different times of the day but with no success.

To make things worse, it seems I can't use any online maps either.

Good day jarvi,

we are sorry for troubles that happen to You and also little sorry for a delay in my answer. I'm trying to analyze the possible reason for this problem but unfortunately can't find any.

May you please try to create a bug report by this method? Thank you very much.

You also wrote that you cannot use any online map? This problem should not affect any online map. If there is also a problem, it more looks like some problem with internet connection. Maybe you may try to simply restart your device. It sometimes makes a miracle.

Hello,

I've just made a bug report and snt it to locus.map@asamm.com with the subject "Unable to buy and download LoMaps"

Since I reported the problem to you three days ago I've been trying to download some offline and online maps but still the same problem and no results. My internet connection is very good and I don't have problems with any other apps.

The problem has, sort of, solved itself. I keep being unable to download any maps and keep receiving the same error message while using wi-fi (I checked several routers and spots). However, when I switch into "ordinary" internet, problems with downloading maps disappear.

The problem with wi-fi is only with downloading maps. Everything else (I use Locus for Geocaching), like using the Live map or downloading caches works perfectly with wi-fi.

It's very strange but it's true. It's not a dream solution and it's not very convenient either but at least I was able to download what I needed.

Thank you Menion for your assistance.

Good day jarvi,

this is a really interesting problem. I've spoken about it with colleague and we both remember that maybe a year back, we helped to solve a very similar problem. Not 100% sure, but the problem was related to some firewall, maybe some proxy server ... generally something little un-usually on his wi-fi network that declined communication with our server. Isn't possible that also something like this is on your wi-fi network? Our Locus Store is completely running on Google servers, so we do not use any unusuall technology.
