This problem only occurs in Fullscreen mode.
If you save a route in Route Planner, the "Cancel" and "Save" buttons are displayed. If you edit the route's name, the buttons will be hidden by the keyboard (this is normal). However, after exiting the keyboard, the two buttons are gone and there's no way to save the route.
The current workaround to this bug is to either accept the default route name or disable Fullscreen mode before using the Route Planner.
Good day macko,
thank you for a bug report. I have indeed found this issue today so consider it as solved (new version planned within a few days).
As a workaround till then, simply display track on map first and then try to edit it's name, description etc. It should work correctly.
Sorry for a complications.

Hi Menion,
I just found this bug, and I thank you, that you solved it. But the workaround you mentioned doesn't work. I just recorded a track. At home again I saved it with the default name, which is the start time stamp. The track is visible on map (had never undisplayed it until now), and I wanted to give it a better name. But this wasn't possible. In the popup the new name is shown, but at the normal place of the name on screen the old one (the time stamp) ist displayed.
I noticed two other strange effects: After trying a second renaming I first went back to track list screen (by using the hardware back button in right bottom corner of my smart phone). There I wondered, that not any track is marked as visible on map (blue rectangle on the right side). Then I went back to the map screen and saw the popup, which is normally displayed when starting Locus Map, showing the initialising progress. But there all my tracks I wanted to see were visible. In track list again the blue rectangles were displayed again. Very strange!
Will wait for the new version.
Kind regards

Oh, I forgot to write: As I was back in the track list, I tried a third renaming of the track. This time it worked. This seems to be the workaround you mentioned.

Hi again,
the new version is installed here, and all the bugs are gone, also the two other strange effects I had.
Many thanks, Menion

Hello,
I have to say, that problem with hidden buttons will be probably still on some devices. If so, I believe I have fixed it so temporary disable full screen mode, thanks.

This behavior must vary with OS version because my on Android 5.1 phone the buttons are again displayed. Frustrating for you!

Good point, I overlooked to mention Android 7.1.1.
