Unable to see downloaded offline map
Solved
I have just downloaded Hungary offline maps (both free and central Hungary for 45LC)
non of them appears on screen. I tried to get back on the online map which appeared by default, but that also not appeared. Gave up for the time beeing.
Hello Kirstof,
would you please check that downloaded map are available in list of offline maps? Please open Menu > Maps > switch tab to Offline. Can you see maps in folders "Maps" or "Europe".
If yes please tap on any map to display it, If Locus ask "Center the map" submit "Yes"
Please let me know about progress
Best regards
Petr

I went to the point "Center the map". There was no yes option but one button translated as escape, and the map did not appear.

Hello
I've tried to record what happens when I start Locus. I also show what is shown when I select the Map.tab. Unfortunate this recording is very blurred but I hope you can get any information out of it.
The size exceed 25 MB so it will be stored on Goggle Drive. You will get a link in the e-mail. Is this OK to you?
Regards
Håkan

Hello
This worked. I saw the map showing my location. I then checked what was shown for a photo using the GPS info. It worked for a photo taken i Sweden. When I checked a photo taken on Canary Islands no map was shown. I then switched back to check a photo taken in Sweden. It worked. I then switched to the online map OSM Outdoor -> Outdoor for the same photo. The map was shown. Then I checked the Canary Island photo without changing the selected map. It worked!! I then selected the Offline map for Canary Islands. The same photo. It worked. I then selected a Swedish photo. I didn't change the selected map. No map was shown. I then restarted Locus to see what happens. No map is shown. The map is still Canary Islands. I can see that information in the header. I then selected the Satellites tab and checked the GPS info. It shows where the photo is taken. N 57 39.633' E 12 08.523'. I then selected the Quick map switch. In the Smart Choice - Offline I selected Sweden and the map was shown. Notice that the map of Canary Islands wasn't able to select as it wasn't shown. I then restarted my phone. It's a LG G3. When I started Locus the map is showing my location.
I now end this test session. Hope this information is useful to you. After all, I can now see the map when I start Locus.
Good Luck.

btw i just had something similar happen. i had paid for / downloaded the hawaii offline map. it didn't show in the offline map index. i backed out of the app a few times (and swiped it from history too)... still no go. attempted to redownload the map. no go.
then i searched and read this thread and figured i'd try a reboot... after the reboot the info icon was open in the app. i took a look, and it then downloaded the map again. now the map is in the offline index, and appears to work fine.
locus pro 3.23.1
working directory /sdcard/Locus
phone is galaxy s5, android version 6.0.1 (although i've had the app on this phone for 3 years, through many upgrades)
