Not a Problem
Hi Locus, first of all, thanks for the software that has tracked +10.000km of our 9 month in Latin-America bicycle trip! Lately, there has been a problem with track recording. We start recording, bur nothing happens because of the phone's gps just can't find us. If riding, standing still, whatever, our location is never upsated. Is this a Locus issue? Phone is a Samsung Galaxy Grand (I think), modem GT-I9060C, Android 4.4.4., kernel 3.10.17-771114. Location icon is blinking all the time in the top left corner by the way.. You're the only ones we can turn to for help. Thanks a bunch!

Good day Tatiana+Rico,
sorry to hear about such problems.
Such problem is usually caused by attempt to use GPS indoor, but this won't be probably your case. Sometimes GPS may be "stuck". Best universal cure for Android is simply restart a device. Did you tried it?
There are also GPS on some older units, that require once per time (usually once per week), connect to internet for downloading special GPS data, used for obtain GPS location. Maybe this may be your case as well? If so, try to open Locus > settings > GPS > and press "Reset A-GPS data". Wait a few seconds and try to disable/enable GPS in Locus (or restart device after that).
Let me know if it helps. Otherwise I'll try to search on internet if there isn't any specific problem exactly for your device.
Btw. very very nice trip!
