Unforunately Locus Map has stopped_Locus Map Pro version 3.17.0 crashes on Android 5.1.1 Xiaomi Mi4c Phone with MIUI 8_Tried uninstall install again. Nothing helps

sorry to hear about such troubles. Before we try to test why this may happen, please update your Locus version to latest version 3.17.2 and try it again.

When a problem remains, please try to create a log by this method: http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:faq:how_to_create_debug_log

Dear Menion,

I installed again Locus Map Pro version 3.17.2. The same error occurred. It's impossible to sent a logfile because Locus Map crashes right away.

We want to go on holiday soon, so we need Locus Map badly.

Hello wiel,

creating of logs do not depend on fact if Locus runs or not. Perform actions wrote in manual right after Locus crash.

Good day Wiel,

thank you for a logs. It helps little bit. From my point of view, it is definitely issue in latest version of MIUI Rom. Today we had published new version of Locus Map and I did a small "hack", that should help on this problem. Let me please know after update to latest 3.18.1 version, if it helped. I really hope for positive response. Thank you.

Today the new version 3.18.2 of Locus Map Pro app is working again on MIUI developer ROM 6.6.30

thank you for a positive information. I'm just worried that small colored popup windows won't be visible in your Locus installation. There is nothing I may do with it for now, so some update of ROM will be needed. Anyway app itself is running, which is important. Enjoy it.

How you can really close a running Locus Map App on an Android smartphone ?

Hello wiel,

not sure how this is connected to current problem, but: to stop app completely, best is to open "Applications" menu directly in your device settings, in list find required application and in it's detail tap on "Force close" button. Hope this helps.
