Unhiding Panels has become difficult
I used to have the top, bottom and righthand panels set to autohide after 5 seconds; double tap would bring them back again. Since the latest update (3.1.3) double tap no longer restores the panels.
I have searched this forum for similar problems and have checked that it is not the orientation setting; I have tried changing the Hide menu timeout; I have tried changing and turning off the scaled resolution (I have this at 1.50 normally). I have also tried restarting my phone. Still double tap does not unhide the panels.
I then tried reinstalling Locus Pro. I managed to get the panels to unhide sometimes but it seems to need a very specific double tap speed: too fast and it ignores it, too slow and it sees it as two separate taps.
Am I missing something or is this a bug?
I think It's much easier than it looks.
Sometimes Locus lose last settings after an update.
I have seen this hundreds times but I can't reproduce this "bug" - so there is no report on this site
about double tap Speed.
i can't see a problem here - I'm fast :)

Locus still had all the same settings, it's just that the double tap didn't seem to work. As for the tapping speed if I double tap at my normal speed it is too fast for Locus - I have to tap a bit slower, but not too slow. I can get it right about one time in four, unless I'm practising time after time.

Some more info. My wife has updated Locus on her Motorola Defy+ and the double tap works fine. Must be something to do with my Nexus 4 or with its 4.4.4 Android. I'll try cleaning up the data and reinstalling again.

Hello Greg,
sorry for a troubles. I'm almost sure that some cleaning of Locus data or re-install can't help here. On second side, I have no idea what may help, because for detecting double taps, Locus use same method, that use most probably all other apps, so nothing specials.
Do you have any similar troubles with any other app, like any photo viewer or any other map viewer etc?

OK, I have found the cause of the problem. After checking double tap in other apps the same problem was there.
The cause was that I had set "Use magnification gesture" in Accessibility Settings to "On". This allows you to zoom in on any screen by triple tapping. Switching this off returned the double tap response to its normal state. Nothing to do with Locus.
Thanks for the help and I hope this helps others.
