Error code 43 after update

After upgrade, my locus pro is no longer active. Indicates error code 43 during initialization.

Good day zalimas,

sorry for a complications. I'm with big surprise look on your last screenshot from first screen after install, where is only visible text "version: " and no value after. You should see there "version: 3.22.0"!

You are using official ROM in your device and latest Locus Map Pro from Google Play? What Android version has your device?

I use a phone and a tablet with Locus Pro. I'm more than a year use locus Pro. Always updating, and not be a problem.

This error is caused by the phone. Phone THL2015A. Android version 5.1 not rooted.

Nexus 7 (2013) tablet locus pro v3.21.1 - works Android version 6,0,1 rooted.

Error 43 after update 3.22.0! My phone is a Allview P8 Energy with android 5.1 not rooted.

I made my phone "factory data reset".


Now my phone is clean and empty.


The first app - Locus pro..

And the problem is the same - error 43.

sorry to hear that you invested so much time and effort into this problem. I've probably found one possible reason why this issue may happen and right now I'm preparing new version 3.22.1. Few hours later it should be available on Google Play so please give it a try. Thank you.

I communicate with few of You about this problem. Unfortunately we still have no clear idea why and where this problem happen.


Till this problem will be solved and new fixed version published on Google Play, please at least use previous working version 3.21.1 , thank you!

Good day,

thank you for a patience. I received few error logs from the users with same problem, unfortunately nothing useful was there. So I've decided to quickly purchase device Doogee X5 Pro, where two users reported this problem.


After install of published Locus Map Pro 3.22.1 I have same issue. Unfortunately error does not make any sense to me. Anyway after full update of developement tools provided by Google and creating a new version, I'm no longer able to simulate this problem.


If you have a moment, may you please try this new Locus Map Pro version? If there will be at least two confirmations on various devices, that it works, I'll publish it as a new version on Google Play.

thank you very much for a testing. I already have same report from one more user. 1154 is not a problem. It just notify that this version is not yet uploaded to Google Play so it cannot be verified. Main 43 issue seems to be solved.

I'm already preparing new version that should be available tomorrow. Thank you and really sorry for a complications!
