Updating of track in preview window (in track menu)

The graphical preview of the track in the track menu is not updated automatically. (Long press on the preview map updates the track and its color - it took me a while to find out.)
This is especially irritating when the track colour has been modified.
But why not update it automatically at the end of each change?

You are right, now I see automatic map preview updates after even just opening the track.
I was reviewing old tracks, and at least those from last October had still just the world map as preview.
So let me appreciate you are solving problems faster than I can report them!

Yes, thank you for this hint - it took me some time to find out.
Can you tell me, under which conditions the map is (or was) included, and why I mostly now see just the track outline ?
I couldn't figure this out.

I have the same. But for me there are 1500 trails and I don't want to click each one individually with long. Can I update everyone at once.

I just found this old thread describing my issue with the latest version: Since at least version 4.1.1 the thumbnail in the track list isn't updated, if the colour or the width of the track are changed. With older versions this worked properly. It would be very useful for me, if this feuture could be reactivated.

Eek!!!
Like others I’ve just discovered that if you change the line style of a folder all the thumbnails of tracks stored within the folder are lost.
I couldn't see the direction arrows so made the line a little wider... I now have 1298 recorded tracks that have all lost their thumbnails... long pressing on each one is going to take hours!
Is there a tweak or fix for this so they can all be done as a single batch or automatically refreshed?

thanks for bringing this problem back. I'll improve this for the next app version. Please keep in mind that refresh of track overviews make takes a while, usually around 0.5 - 1sec per track. So in your case, it may be up to 20 minutes. The overviews will refresh in the UI (in the list of tracks), so you may easily see if all is already done.
