Vector maps not so nice

I use the Locus Pro since some years and it's really a nice tool. What I doesn't like so much are the Vector maps, I try to create always my own maps from Google Maps but the size are very high.

I found an other tool which cover about 10% of Locus but you has nice maps.

Do you think there will be a ways to import the .mwm file (MapsWithMe) ?

I think it is more about improving the style of the vector maps than importing .mwm, because MapsWithMe uses also OpenStreetMaps for map data (same as Locus). So the data are the same, just the style to render those data is different.

The best would be if you add couple of screenshots where you see the Vector Maps are not that nice.

Note that MapsWithMe is for street navigation while Locus is for outdoor navigation.

Hi,

thank you report and thank myneur for comment. Honestly myneur already mentioned all important points. Locus does not support MapsWithMe files and probably will not support them in the future. And as myneur wrote the raw map data should be almost identical. On the other hand we're able to improve themes for vector maps to make more "nice". It depends on user's requirements and also users usage. Would you please provide some screenshots and notes what is wrong and what you'd like to improve?
