Hi. vectormaps france and germany you can download parts of the country. why not italy? i only need 1 or 2 provinces and have to download more then 2 mb.

please fix.

Hello René,

I have to say that we've though about splitting Italy into two parts for south and north Italy last year. But with offline address search feature is splitting the country little bit complicated. It's not technical complication but UX issue. More over it seems that Italy has about 100 provinces.

I'm sorry but there are no plans for splitting Italy into provinces at this moment but it can change someday in future.

well Germany and France were split into regions due to performance issues about 3 year ago. The Italy map has exactly the size when is needed to decide - to split or not to split. We decided not to split Italy because offline address search future.

Well, I can discuss it again with the rest of the Locus team next week.
