Vectormap with Hiking theme shows strange lines
Solved
I have updated my vectormap of Belgium, but when I choose the hiking theme I see a lot of straight lines on the map. I`m pretty sure that they are meaningless, so why are they showing up? I don`t see them on the other themes...

Hi gynta,
I have downloaded the vectormaps yesterday from the Locus shop using the download functionality of Locus. Maps have date of 10-3-2013.
I can see the lines the best when I`m on a zoomlevel of 200m.
I tried to take a screenshot, but failed after a lot of tries.
I use Locus Pro version 2.10.2
Samsung Galaxy S2 v4.1.2
Have you tried it yourself?

@rvheddeg: in Locus via Menu/More/Share you can email yourself a screendump and then share it here.
@gynta: powerlines? Very helpfull for orienteering on a hike?

@henkvanderspek: Definitely not power lines. That would mean that Belgium is full of these lines. And thanks for the hint

Yeah, not good. For a workaround you could try these; I espescially like the "voluntary-hike" theme. http://forum.locusmap.eu/viewtopic.ph...

Henk,
Thanks again for this hint. It took me quit a while before I was able to select the correct theme. (I`ll make a separate thread for this).
But alas, all three external themes have also the same problem.

Hi,
As Gynta wrote...problem is related with contour-lines (I guess based on screenshot). So the map file is wrong (change of the render theme doesn not help).
Anyway, I’ll check it.

And for a real screendump (with sidebars and topbar) you can use MyPhoneExplorer Client from the Play Store. Needs to connect over usb then.

Hi,
I think that I found it. It has something to do with Points (in OSM advanced: rcn_ref)
Look at this picture:
Could this be solved with the themes?

By the way, the current theme is "Voluntary" (;-) @Henk). Thanks to this theme I found a possible explanation of this issue.

Thank you for help. Hope that issue solved. New vector maps will be available in next two weeks
