Very slow startup caused by loading points

I am not sure since which version, but since a some weeks Locus needs a lot of time (1-2 minutes) during startup. It seems that locus has a lot to do whyle loading the points which are open in the last session. since i use Locus normaly more or less than ~2000 points/geocaches are "always on". but now also ALL the waypoints will be loaded again. IN the last session they are unloaded.

Hello k@y

if you have enabeled

menu/settings/geocachung/Automatic waypoint loading > some or all

start of locus will take much more time.

For a short test disable all and compare starting time of locus.

yes, i tried it. But this option was enabled all the time before.

When I open a single geocache it makes sense to show all the waypoints. If a group of geocaches is shown on the map it makes no sense.

Maybe this can be changed?

Since version 3.15.0+, Locus remember state of visibility for all waypoints. So if you close Locus with all waypoints visible, they will be loaded again during next start. Loading of waypoints is also little bit slower compare to previous versions. So I suggest to keep visible only waypoints that you wants to use. Hope this gave you an answer.
