Hello,

Currently I am in Vietnam. Are there any latest maps for hiking and mountainbiking available? The maps I've got from the map store are not up date...especially ha tinh region.

Hello Patrick,

the latest map for Vietnam is only Locus vector map - released 2015.06.05. Please note that Locus vector maps are created based on community OSM project and it can happen that some elements are not mapped yet.

Are the *online* Vietnam maps similarly out of date? Specifically, OpenStreetMap? (This is where the Locus map data comes from.)

I'm curious because I'd like to visit Vietnam, and having good OSM mapping would influence the decision.

Thanks, and what about http://www.openstreemap.org and Ha tinh region? It's also up to date on online web maps. Could you please compare vector maps and online Openstreetmap for Ha tinh region.

Hello Petr, yes the online maps in this province are completly out of date... i tracked all my rides with Mountainbike nothing matches together. But google vektor maps seem actual...

Don't worry this area becomes a fast growing area..so it will be hard to keep up to date ;-)
